Jason Kim
Jason Kim is a seasoned financial executive with a diverse background spanning strategic finance, investment management, and corporate leadership. Currently serving as Chief of Staff, and VP Corporate Center, Jason oversees Project Management, TA Group, and Facilities and Information Technology at SK Life Science, Inc. ensuring streamlined operations across the board.
The Corporate Center Jason leads delivers the operational backbone that enables SK Life Science to advance its mission of developing and delivering innovative therapies for people living with CNS disorders. By integrating technology, talent, infrastructure, and disciplined execution, the Corporate Center ensures the organization can scale efficiently, operate securely, and remain focused on improving outcomes for patients today while building for the future.
The Corporate Center Jason oversees includes:
- Project Management: Drives cross-functional alignment and disciplined execution of SKLSI’s highest-priority initiatives. The Project Management function provides structure, visibility, and governance for complex, enterprise-wide programs—helping teams deliver on strategic goals on time and with clarity. By coordinating efforts across functions, this team helps translate strategy into action, enabling organizational agility as SKLSI grows and prepares for future pipeline and commercial expansion.
- Talent Acquisition Group: Partners with leadership to build a high-performing, mission-driven workforce that advances SKLSI’s scientific and business priorities. The team focuses on attracting and securing top-tier scientific, technical, and senior leadership talent, strengthening capabilities across SKLSI and SKBP. Through strategic workforce planning and a strong candidate experience, Talent Acquisition helps ensure the organization has the expertise required to innovate in CNS and deliver for patients over the long term.
- Facilities: Oversees workplace operations and physical infrastructure at SKLSI headquarters, creating environments that support collaboration, productivity, safety, and business continuity. The Facilities team ensures the organization’s physical spaces evolve alongside its growth—supporting a One Company culture where teams can connect, innovate, and work effectively in service of patients.
Prior to his current role, Jason was CFO at SK USA, Inc. in New York, overseeing all financial operations and strategic initiatives for the organization. Before that, he was Senior Managing Director at SK USA, Inc., focusing on business development and investment within the consumer sector. During this tenure, he successfully executed investments in prominent brands and, as a member of the board for portfolio companies, provided strategic guidance to enhance operational efficiency and maximize shareholder value.
Before joining SK USA, Inc., Jason served in various senior roles at SK Holdings in Seoul, Korea, and Samsung C&T Corporation, where he led high-profile projects in investment management across the consumer sector and green energy industries. His extensive experience includes evaluating investment opportunities, financial structuring, and conducting post-merger integrations to drive growth and profitability. Throughout the projects he has led, Jason has played a key role in financial reporting, M&A activities, and internal control policies, demonstrating a strong commitment to financial integrity and strategic decision-making.
Jason is a graduate of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Accounting and a minor in Mathematics. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and was consistently recognized on the Dean’s List for academic excellence.
